Cairns Baseball League

The Cairns Baseball League (CBL) consists of twelve senior league teams participating in the A, B and Masters Competitions.

The Cairns Baseball League (CBL) was founded in 1980. The CBL is based at Nautilus Street Trinity Beach and is the only purpose built baseball facility in the Cairns region.

Facilities include 2 full size diamonds, batting cage, ball pens, canteen, toilets and changing facilities. The League consists of eleven senior league teams participating in the A, B and Masters Competitions. Trinity Beach now boasts one of the best playing surfaces in Queensland after recent upgrades to the main playing surface in 2011.

The Trinity Beach Complex has hosted international visiting teams from the United States, Japan and various other domestic and international teams since the mid 1980's. A number of teams made Cairns their final port of call in their Australian tour and as well as experiencing many of the local tourist highlights, they enjoyed friendly games against the local representative team - the Cairns Cyclones. Many representative players have come out of Cairns including a Major League player and an Olympian.

Cairns Baseball is played in winter and runs from April through to October to ensure the best weather possible for local, domestic and international visiting teams. Games are played on Friday nights and Sundays.
